17th March 2008 - The John Stiles Vehicle Collection has nine new additions.

15th March 2008 - The John Stiles Aircraft Collection has two new additions.

13th March 2008 - The John Stiles Railway Collection has some new additions in the Steam Railway Collection.

8th March 2008 - Prices of 9"x6" prints have been reduced to £1.50 plus P&P. Please remember that there is a flat P&P rate of £2.50 for all orders up to the value of £75.00.

Welcome

Welcome to images of transport, a new website that aims to sell a mixture of transport images, both heritage and modern day, from Ian Simpson and John Stiles. Images are mostly available as either a photograph or in digital format, and can be used privately or for reproduction purposes by Editors and Publishers.

We aim to add to our collections on a frequent basis and whilst the majority of images are railway based we hope to add other shots as and when we can.

Commisions will be considered where feasible, so if you have any requests for specific shots then please let us know.

Buying an Image for Private Use

The John Stiles collection is currently only available as 20"x16" photographs, but if prints are required of the digital photos then they are available in many sizes, for a size not listed please contact us and we will see what we can do.

We can also provide canvas wraps and framed prints of the digital images (prices available on request).

Buying an Image with Reproduction Rights for publishing

All digital images can be made available with Reproduction Rights for publication in printed form or for use on Websites. Please contact us for a quote on individual images.

Payment

We currently only accept payment to be made through PayPal.

Delivery will depend upon the order, but we aim to ship within 10 working days to UK postal addresses, non-UK orders may take longer.

Permitted use of photographs or digital images bought from images of transport

Any photograph or image purchased from images of transport is for private use only unless otherwise agreed. Any other use of a photograph or digital image is not permitted and will be in breach of our copyright.

All images and text on this website are protected under UK Copyright Law (Copyright, Designs and Patent Act 1988) and also in accordance with International copyright laws and treaties. All Rights Reserved. The photographers hereby assert all rights pertaining to the text and images portrayed and sold on this website.

You may bookmark any part of this website for ease of access and offline reading. Beyond that, no image or any part of this website may be stored in a retrieval system (other than Internet Browser), copied or reproduced, published in any way, either in hard copy or electronic form- incuding Internet website, or transmitted in any form or by any means, electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording or otherwise, without the prior permission of images of transport.

By buying a print or file, you become the owner, but you do not own the Copyright to it, so scanning, photocopying etc is illegal. Using an image on your website constitutes publishing it and would be in breach of Copyright.

Rather than illegally copying an image for use on your website, why not provide a link to this site? (Please inform us if you do, so a reciprocal link may be set up to our mutual benefit.)

Return Policy

If for any reason you are not satisfied with a photograph or image, we will refund 100% of your order upon its return to us in the condition that it was received. Return shipping charges are your responsibility. You must contact us prior to any return and we will give you specific return instructions. If your order is delivered damaged, it is your responsibility to contact images of transport. Digital images will not be subject to any refund if they are not acceptable to you: please study the on-screen image carefully before ordering to ensure that it meets your requirements.

IMPORTANT: Save all packing materials. Failure to do so can cause us to deny your claim.
